    After deleting an Excel worksheet. There are two specific options for recovering the file. One is before saving the file and the other is after saving the file. These two methods are described below. To recover a deleted Excel worksheet, follow the method according to the example usage.

    Before saving the Excel file

    If you have deleted a worksheet and have not yet saved the Excel file, you can restore a deleted Excel worksheet fairly quickly. This is because the changes have not yet been saved. Here is how to do it.

    1. First, close the Excel application.
    2. When prompted, click the “Don’t Save” button.
    3. Open the Excel file again.
    4. You should see the deleted worksheet in the Excel file.

    If you are using Office 2016 – 2019

    Search for an Excel file in your OneDrive account. Then select the file.

    Once you have selected the file, click the Version History option on the top bar.

    Once you do this, OneDrive will open the Excel file in a new tab and the older version will appear in the sidebar. Scroll through each older version until you find the deleted worksheet.

    When you find the version you are looking for, click the “Restore” or “Download” link below the version in the sidebar.

    That’s it. You have now restored or recovered a deleted Excel worksheet using OneDrive.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have not saved the Excel file using OneDrive, and you have already saved the Excel file after deleting the worksheet, there is no way to recover a deleted worksheet in this situation.
