“Quick Settings” allows you to turn system settings on and off with a single click. This section explains how to open, add, and remove Quick Settings in Windows 11.
Although it looks similar to Windows 10, the Windows 11 taskbar is very different. For one thing, the taskbar icons are centered. In addition to this, Microsoft has also removed the right-click taskbar drop-down menu. This means that you may not be able to open the task manager or access system icon settings from the taskbar itself. However, Microsoft has also made some very welcome improvements to the Notification Center and Quick Settings panel.
First, the Notification Center and Quick Settings panel are no longer in the same panel. They are now separated into two separate tabs. This will reduce confusion for Windows users. Remember how Notification Center and Action Center used to be the same in Windows 10? That is no longer the case. Plus, the new Quick Settings panel is easier to use and looks better.
With these changes, it is not clear to many users how to open the Quick Settings panel and add or remove Quick Settings buttons in Windows 11.
